Everybody tries to be as polite and constructive as possible.
Everyone tries to understand the other points of view.
Some "fights" happen despite best intentions.
In case you are not a native English speaker:
"Discussion" = OK, friendly, safe word.
"Argument" = In universities, OK. Elsewhere might not be so friendly.
"Squabble" = Bad tempered.
"Fight" = Fists or other weapons.
Melee, Brawl = more than 2 fighters, chaotic
Riot = lots of fighters, very chaotic
War =
Actually many on the ABC list have university backgrounds and are capable of
arguing strongly without any ill-will.
