It won't! Taral's example over-rides any changes in unit note length so
that it will work correctly with an abc application whether or not it
changes the value of unit note length when the meter changes.

Has anyone checked the behaviour of the latest abc2ps and abc2ps clones
recently with respect to this behaviour ? I can confirm that abc2ps 1.3.3
has this bug/feature, which surprises me.
