depends. If it is fixed part of a playback program it is a bad thing (as
I read is what happens in one program with the R:fields playback
information). If it is some default that can be changed by the user
within the playback program it is not. And definitely it should *not* be
part of the abc format standard, since for some musicans using textual
tempo indicators is to *avoid* metronome numbers to sugest that it
depends on the circumstances of a performance which tempo is the right
one.
