Thanks Eric for the info about ghostscript/ghostview etc.
Much of what is on web sites contradicts itself, or mentions
program versions that can no longer be found or whose docco
warns not to try it for win3.x. This guy is not interested in
learning computers, just teaching music, so it's all looking
a bit too hard.

Wow, I didn't even realise it was 16 bit. Thanks for pointing
that out, it might prove a very useful tool for him.
