Hi, I am still working on a graphical user interface for jcabc2ps. I was adding a scale widget today - a slider which sets the transpose level.
Finally I tried it out. The program seems to make a good command. But something with the transposition doesn't work. if I do: > abc2ps -t 3 somesong.abc -o then I get as output a transposed tune in Out.ps But if I do: > jcabc2ps -t 3 somesong.abc > Out.ps then it doesn't transpose. It does, however, produce a wonderful untransposed output. ==== Another question: Is there anybody who works with Linux (or some other Unix) who wants to test my graphical user interface to jcabc2ps / abc2ps? I have experienced that even if I develop something that runs well on my machine that doesn't mean it runs on another machine with a slightly different interpreter. I am aware that there exists already such a software, but that doesn't keep me from making another one. It is written in Tcl/Tk and demands of you that you have Tcl/Tk installed on your machine.
