The former is a complete description of each
movement and its various forms.
The latter comprises the examination lessons from
the 8-year syllabus to teach it.
Using this vocabulary (having mastered it, of course),
I once learned the steps of the full pas-de-deux "Peasant Pas"
from Giselle in about 30 minutes using just the vocabulary
represented by these works. After that, only rehearsal and
coaching were necessary to bring it to performance quality.
