Well in the case of my transcriptions this is not important to me. Most of them happen to have 4 bars per line in the abc, but that's not meant to be preserved in print. If people want them printed with 4 bars per line, fine for me, but I wouldn't print them like that for myself. I would like as compact printing as possible, which would mean about 6 bars per line.
