For information purposes: TestNG is supported by Maven (though the support is new, and I don't know much about it)>. JUnit4 is not yet supported by Maven.

In terms of a testing framework, I think an evaluation is appropriate since JUnit 3.8 has be replaced by JUnit 4 and TestNG and those two frameworks are a large departure from JUnit 3.8. Joe
