We've removed the JavaScript engine and the NSPR library from the tree. There was basically nothing which used them anyway, so the net effect is that builds should be faster. However, this also means that we don't use the NSPR build system anymore. Previously, when NSPR was in place, it was possible that AbiWord might accidentally build on non-Linux platforms. In fact, at least one person reported success in trying to do so. Now, AbiWord will only build on NT and Linux. This is a temporary condition until we get autoconf setup. In the meantime, we apologize for the inconvenience. By the way, this will break your view, since directories were deleted. Here's how to fix things so you can do a cvs update: visit abi/src/other/CVS/Entries and delete the libjs and nsprpub lines then rm -rf the 2 directories then you can do a cvs update.... -- Eric W.
