spelling clarification and ruler problem

As you can tell, this is the first time I've used abiword extensively. i.e.,
homework calls...

Anyway, the spelling dialog does not always not remove the original mis
spelled word.  It is dependant to when you have selected anything in the top
window.

Also, after checking the spelling, the top ruler is misplaced.  That is, the
0" mark is the tabs button directly above the vruler.
