Correct cvs command

Hi. I've created the Status Bar in BeOS port. Many days ago Sam Th said 
 "Just one favor: in the future, can you have just one large diff file,
instead of many small ones?  That just makes my life loads easier".

I don't know the correct command to do this.
Please, could somebody tell me the correct one.
