Agreed with LDR here, who just "happens" to be a freetype maintainer and font guru for those who don't know. We won't be infringing on any patent issues because we aren't shipping binary versions of freetype with abiword except maybe on win32 - but even then we'll ship a separate DLL with Font Hinting disabled just to cover our asses. For those who build Abi from source OR have a license from Apple OR live in a place where these patent's don't apply, it's not an issue. Drop in the freetype dll of your choice to replace ours, but do so at your own risk. Dom
