Jared,

I hope I'm not overstepping the bounds here...

I've removed all the config files that are created by autogen.sh &
configure. These *really* don't belong in CVS. The config.h(s) in
particular are a problem since they are platform specific.

I added a check for the environment variable AIK_DATA_DIR, which overrides
the compiled-in AIK_DATA_DIR string. This has enabled me to build a
relocatable Aiksaurus plugin for XAbiWord - and may have other uses
besides.

Otherwise, just bits and pieces.

o check for environment variable AIK_DATA_DIR; use if set
o remove accidental <tab>(s) from Makefile.am(s)
o tidy autogen.sh(s)
o minor Darwin&other updates for configure.in(s)
o static_cast<GList*>(NULL) in AiksaurusGTK_strlist.cpp
o en-mass removal of auto-generated build files
