Slightly belated, for which I apologise, the official AbiWord Version 1 is now availble for MacOSX/XDarwin as XAbiWord-1.0.1-2.
For the very first time, XAbiWord comes bundled with the Aiksaurus plugin. Finally, the LANG setting now defaults to en_US (fixes "XAbiWord doesn't do anything" bug).
