building problems on rh7.3

hello,

  I'm having libxml2 related building problems on redhat 7.3, either
with default libxml2 lib or ximian's gnome2 snapshot one.

  I attach a build log, which I hope can be of some use.

ps: I've commit a patch submitted by uwog on the rpm spec template that
upgrdes the libxml2 version requirements.
