Sounds good. It can be set in the prefs, and if it isn't when the issue comes up, that's when the dialog comes up. Personally I have no objection. Some end-users (the less intelligent ones we always find ourselves catering to) might not like this. But with this we can at least change the behaviour later if it turns out not to stand up well in the real world.
