But still GTK+ calls setlocale() and friends inside of gtk_init and if they fail (as they will if your OS doesn't support a particular locale), then you're ultimately screwed no matter what we try to do inside of Abi. In which case, you'd better learn English... Ideally you'd be able to get ISO codes for these languages, or get the Operating Systems of the world to include support in their libc's et. al.
