Hello everybody, happy New Year etc. Two little problems: 1) international font support 2) vi mode
I've been using abiword sporadically for some time now, but I cannot solve the problems I have encountered. This definitely very fine program has a limited support for other character sets, e.g. central european (iso-8859-2). I could partially solve the problem by substituting some fonts in the Abiword fonts directiory (is there any particular reason why Abiword uses its own font directory??), but I cannot get them to print or export correctly -- which basically renders my abiword installation useless. Second problem -- I was really eager to use the vi mode, what with vi being my favorit editor and all.
