Thanks, The good news is it let me import all of me tables & queries. The bad news is it won't let me do the reair/compact thing or import any reports.
I tred the MS utility mentioned here, it would not work. What is freaky is that it seems to be runnning a report, automatically, that is not listed under reports. I deleted the autoexec macro, still whenever I try to to anytnig with modules, reports or the compact/reapir tool the non-existent reposrt kicks off and I get the message that I need to run the utility. Strange, huh? --- Trent Johnsey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: --------------------------------- Two possible methods; 1. Compact and repair the db into a new db instance by opening Access. Go to the tools and then compact and repair the old db to a new db. 2. import all of the old objects into a new db instance and then try repairing. 2a. Import each object one at a time to find the offending object, or simply exclude the object you were working on when the db crashed. Commerical tools exist to fix the db as well, but they have a tendency to remove all of the keys and indexes from your native tables.
