While in the mdb file, hit keys [CTRL] and [G]. This opens the immediate window, which also opens the VBA window. If an application is uncompiled, then the computer must read each line of code as it needs it, which slows everything down. A compiled version is read by the computer much faster. I have had issues where the computer was slower than normal, and compiling it helped address the speed issue.
To compile the code, while in the VBA window, click on menu option Debug, and then click the first choice, which is compile (database name). If no errors exist in the code and all of the references are correct, then the application should compile without issue. Otherwise, you will have to fix the code errors and reference issues. Hope this helps.
