Yes, the unknown cert error indicates you do not have a CA cert for tlsv1. Did you get the VenueServer certificate with the Certificate Manager "Request Certificate" button? or did you get it some other way? The issuer on the VenueServer certificate should be: /O=Access Grid/OU=agdev-ca.mcs.anl.gov/CN=Access Grid Developers CA
I think you have a cert from ANL that was meant for a different purpose. You should try contacting the AGTech email list: ag-t...@mcs.anl.gov You can sign up for it here: http://www.accessgrid.org/community hope this helps, Michael Miller System Engineer NCSA 217 649 0747 "If you're clear in your vision and trust the people in your team with clear objectives, they will invariably do their best to achieve everything desired, and usually deliver everything you could have hoped for and even more." -Paul Debevec ________________________________ From: "Aabhas Garg" <aabhasg...@gmail.com> To: "Michael Miller" <mimil...@ncsa.illinois.edu> Sent: Sunday, March 27, 2011 6:31:37 PM Subject: Re: Venue Management Problem Yes I did but still problem Did you see this problem "SSLError: tlsv1 alert unknown ca" Let me know Thanks On Sun, Mar 27, 2011 at 7:28 PM, Michael Miller <mimil...@ncsa.illinois.edu<mailto:mimil...@ncsa.illinois.edu>> wrote: Make sure your new VenueServer cert is set as the default cert in CertificateManagement hope this helps Michael Miller System Engineer NCSA 217 649 0747<tel:217%20649%200747> "If you're clear in your vision and trust the people in your team with clear objectives, they will invariably do their best to achieve everything desired, and usually deliver everything you could have hoped for and even more." -Paul Debevec ________________________________ From: "Aabhas Garg" <aabhasg...@gmail.com<mailto:aabhasg...@gmail.com>> To: "Michael Miller" <mimil...@ncsa.illinois.edu<mailto:mimil...@ncsa.illinois.edu>> Sent: Sunday, March 27, 2011 4:46:37 PM Subject: Re: Venue Management Problem I was able to install the certificate in Certificate Manager from ANL whenever I already submitted the certificate for Venue Server for a few weeks ago. How did you obtain the certificate from ANL? Were you able to install it? If so, view the certificate and see what the CA designation is, then make sure you have a CA certificate listed in the CA certs tab in the Certificate Manager.
