Todd,
Here is our combination @ South Dakota State University.
- Sony EVI-HD1 @ 3
- Blackmagic Decklink SDI cards @ 3

We simultaneously use the HD-SDI out of the cameras to the black magic cards as 
well as the HD-Component out and down convert it to NTSC Composite into a 
Viewcast Osprey 440.
