Steven: You could try running these commands with the '-d' option on the command-line, which will dump additional debug information as it runs. This might help you understand the problem. The additional information also appears in the related log files (in ~/.AccessGrid/Logs); if you don't see a clear indication of the problem there, you can send the log file to me for a look.
