My experience with an attempt at an all Windows XP mutltinode was that there seemed to be a real issue with capture cards. I could only get it to recognize 1 of the 4. Now, was this an XP problem or something with the old Hauppage WinTV's not so sure. I basically decided that Linux seemed to handle the video capture a little more smoothly so I went XP on display and audio, Fedora Core 2 on video capture. NDSU node seems fairly happy these days, so Jim is happy also, heh. That's my Friday's 2 cents worth. Have a good weekend.

Both platforms have globus, Windows and Linux. How else would a personal node work? :) Chris is right, all combinations work. Python and C are cross-platform languages. In theory even Mac OS-X would work too, using the unix AG source. Derek Natalia Costas Lago wrote: > > > > > Do people involved in Grid projects agree with that?.
