Hi Todd... it is nice to know that someone out there is sharing my woe.. i have a Aiptek Camera which is supported through the ov511 drivers using V4L. All my other webcam applications works fine except AG.
A friend of mine was telling me that if we use a Webcam to connect in Windows, there is a "resolution selection" option to ensure that the resolution captured is not too high (beyond what the camera supports). i have been looking at how i can setup the camera so that it only captures at a certain resolution (e.g. 320x240) but i haven't gotten any clues. i have looked at V4L as well as the ov511 drivers. one thing i realized is that the v4l settings presented in the VIC menu options corresponds only the the v4l controls given in the v4lctl command. it doesn't allow any additional configurations. my guess is that if like windows, we are allowed to choose the resolution for capture, it should work... Does anyone have a clue on how we can define the webcam capture resolution in AG? On Fri, 2004-07-30 at 01:51, Todd Zimmerman wrote: > I'm having a similar issue using a Logitech Pro 4000 on FC 2.
