We just saw this same behavior - I was doing a demo, Univ of Maryland and 
LBNL were the only sites we could maintain any consistent contact 
with.  WPI and Dartmouth kept freezing up or dropping out and then 
returning..We also had problems seeing and hearing BU during a SWOF meeting 
today, they would appear, then freeze, then unfreeze.  Our connection with 
these sites has been stable up until today.    We're guessing that it's an 
ESNet issue, so we just sent email to ESNet to see if they have any insight 
into this.... I'll let you know what we find out.
