Hi,
One area that I'd like addressed is Impress accessibility in Linux. The
authoring and presenting experience is far behind that which can be had using
MS tools on Windows with a screen reader. I am a professional trainer and use
presentation software every day. If my company were to move away from
Microsoft and embrace either Libre or Open Office, it would be a disaster for
me as I rely heavily on Powerpoint to do my job.
I'd certainly like for all the accessibility stuff to be fixed in Windows but
others have mentioned it so, I thought I'd bring up something far more close to
home for me.
Thanks.
Alex
The quickest way to get accessibility issues corrected is by discussing
them here in detail and issuing bug reports. We have a great Bug
Submission Assistant[1] that you may use (you have to register at
"freedesktop" to submit these. But, issuing bugs will help in getting a
lot fixed in accessibility features.
Do let us know how we can help or what is not working. If you have
problems submitting bugs, just report on this list and someone will help
submit it (or ping me at my email address and I will help submit it).
Cheers,
Marc
