Don, *,

Accelerators are LibreOffice's best practice cross platform project specific,
not Microsoft's weirdness.

So, closing the current component window is done with <CTRL>+F4; and a second
issuing will close LibreOffice.

If you use the Microsoft <Alt>+F4 that will close the Window frame holding
LibreOffice--not a crash, just different accelerators.

This link is to the active tracking metabug for Assistive Technology issue on
the LibreOffice Bugzilla tracking, hosted with FreeDesktop.org, but soon to
move onto a project managed server:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60251

And, for handling differences in accelerators--in this posting
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=65911#c1 you will find links to
first the LibreOffice specific accelerators, and then to Microsoft's.

Good luck, and please post to Bugzilla should you find substantive AT related
issues.

Stuart
