Hi David, Please check that you have the "Extended tips" check-box selected.
Tools -> Options -> General in the Help section. A check-box for "Tips" on by default, and a second check-box "Extended tips" is off by default. Select that active, and you should have more complete descriptions pulled from the offline help pack.
