Hi All,
>From the guide dog programs I have read about, almost all have been
residential programs with the dog owner having to stay in the training
institute because they say that using a guide dog requires the dog owner
to have almost as much training with that dog as the dog itself.
The programs were about 21 weeks in duration and didn't take something
like a year or two for a person to get a dog.
What's the story with this person promising people trained dogs on
certain dates? Is training the dog owners also a part of this deal? Does
this guy have any kind of facility?

Regards,
Manish

Yes it is the same person.
i am surprised that you are promised a dog in April 2007. I have paid in

May- June of 2005. I havent been informed when I will get the dog.
There are others who have paid before me and they havent got a dog as
yet.
so please email the new tel. nos. and addresss. Iwill have to follow it
up.
Are there others on this list who have registered for a guide dog?
