If some one books a ticket availing consession and during the journey is found not to be disabled traveling on the consessional ticket he can easily be punished for it. I do not understand what could be the problem for this and why would we need database of all people with disability for this. Thanks Dipendra

The rates also vary from category to category of beneficiaries. They also have different proformas of Concession certificates. Therefore at present, it is not feasible for Indian Railways to do that. Unless the railways have a reliable database of all the people who avail concessions which I believe is not possible in the foreseeable future, we cannot expect online reservation with concessional rates.
