No company charges extra premium for blind people, what they charge is extra 
mortality charges. (around 2 to 20 rs per premium.)
And they are allowed to do it by insurance regulatory authority.
If you buy policies for the purpose of investment and not claim survival 
benefit, you don't have to pay anything extra.
That is the last I heard about the issue.
