Dear Shadap Husain sir, If you are using HP. Scanner please do the following : open the H.P. director from the desktop or from the programme menu, after that click settings and click scan preferences. here you should uncheck all check marks, in all controls namely, automatic tab, quality vs. speed tab, and preview tab, and close the programme. Now your scanner will work in Kurzweil 1000 without any problem.
