dear Subramani
I am sorry I forgot to mention that the focus of her study is the
entertainment media. perhaps that's the reason the serials are picked up for
response.
According to her, the storyline, the theme and the presence of disability
component in these serials deserve a response/ reaction from the disability
sector.

the moot question is,
whether the media and entertainment channel represent the disability and the
disable persons in the manner we as disable would like to be portrayed?

would we as disable like to be asssociated with the traites displayed by
the characters with a disability in any of these serials?

are the attributes of disable character truely representative of our
response to life, challenges, self concept and the like?

do we as disable seek a specific response from our external surrounding
which is present/ absent in the serial that can be objected to or pointed
out?

what is it about the disability and the disable person in these serials that
we would like to be projected differently?

PS even if you manage to review any one of the episodes I'm sure you can
find sufficient stuff to be able to contribute to the study.

thanks
