The suggestion to carry some sharp weapon or repellant is good and applies
to every girl willing to protect herself from assault in the present era of
unregulated prurient motives. It may be more advantageous for VI girls in
particular.

However, one fact which has always struck me is the absence of pockets in
the typical feminine attire as a rule, which prevents them having anything
handy--on person--be it in case of emergency or not.
There may be deep rooted psychological, social, economic, symbolic or
aesthetic reasons behind this conspicuous omission, however, in my opinion,
it is prudent to design a pocket equivalent in the female costume which
would allow them to carry anything handy and fish it out without any hassles
like approaching for one's purse, which is the first thing to be snatched in
case of any attack!

Would like to hear opinions

Rajesh.
