Training- The Blind Relief Association, Delhi has been serving in the field school education as well as vocational training of the visually challenged for over six-decades. Under its vocational training programme the Association has trained hundreds of blind youth in various vocational skills and managed to find placement for a large number of them in open industry. Electric & Electronic Appliances Repair-Maintenance Training is a one-year programme designed for the orthopedically handicapped and low vision persons. Training includes repair and maintenance of common household electrical and electronics appliance including cell phones. The aim is to prepare the trainees for employment in the ever growing electronics manufacture, repair and maintenance market, or work independently as self-employed. The training is open to youth having disability of lower extremity or low vision, of minimum 18 year and maximum 35 years of age and be minimum Class X pass. Duration: One year: daily 10.00 am to 5.pm from Monday through Saturday. Admission: January and July. Intake: 05 trainees per batch No fee is charged for the training.
