You need tab character in the text for column separator. If you have tab in
proper places, simple paste operation will convert the text into columns.
If these are separated by commas or semicolons, you must select the
delimiter in step 2 of the wizard.

Dear Friends,
I sometimes have to download a report which is in TXT format which
means, all data in the Notepad with the column that would appear once
the file is converted in to Excel. Can any of you provide step by step
instruction how to convert TXT Notepad file in to Excel with the help
of JAWS/NVDA.
I am mentioning few steps that Sighted people use to convert Notepad
file in to Excel.
Data Tab>Data Tool>Text to Column Dialog Box
Once this Dialog Box is opened there are Radio Buttons they select
Fixwith Radio Button and click on Next, challenge comes here where we
have to remove some line from Notepad to show as Column in the Excel
Sheet, Example: if there is one Column in the Notepad as SR No.
Sighted people remove some don’t know what exactly they do because
they use a Mouse so SR No. will come as one header in the Column
otherwise SR and No. will appear as a separate header in the Excel.
Need your urgent help.
