Primary Objective:
To create awareness about LD and focus on solutions, to help children achieve a
definite structure to make their lives academically and socially functional,
with expertise from specialized individuals and organizations.
Overview of the conference:
In India, around 13 to 14 per cent of all school children suffer from learning
disorders/disabilities.
The conference offers a platform to initiate a dialogue and explore possible
solutions to the help these children and their parents overcome these
challenges.
Organizations and Professionals from Educational and Medical fields will come
together to adopt the best practices in LD.
This conference will advocate a private-state partnership to strengthen the
infrastructure needed to deal with challenges of LD besides reinforcing the
need to get the proposed PWD Act 2014, cleared in the Parliament.
