The problem arises when Braille is the only option. Braille is a bad option for
many reasons. First of all one needs to look for the signages. Next, while
geting to the signage one could stumble over luggage, step into dirt or if the
train starts moving one could fall into the gaps. Next given the maintenance of
public spaces, not sure if one would like to feel around. Imagine looking for
Braille signage inside the wash room. Imagine feeling about the seats and
berths for the numbers and accidently feel people, lastly many of the blind and
visually impaired who travel may not know Braille. Hence it cannot be the first
option. The unfortunate thing is that in most public spaces Braille is the
first and last option. That is a bad idea.

I don't see any wrong by having Braille Signage and I feel Braille has
to be there with other alternative, it is up to the person what he/she
prefers, there is nothing wrong suggesting Braille as an option.

Warm Regards,
Tilak.
