I am using a netbook which I purchased in 2012 with win7 ultimate version.
I am also getting windows 10 update notice. If I go for the update, will it
detect and install the update which is suitable for my netbook?
I am detailing the configuration here. Please let me know is it advisable
for me to go for windows 10.

microsoft is listening to all the accessability problems that we have.
and once you upgrade you can use the windows feedback app to give
microsoft feedback about the problems that you have.
just keep in mind that dont try upgrading over a unstable internet
connection or when there is high chance of a power outage also keep a
sighted help around however with windows 10 the chance of you
requireing help is less as even if the upgrade fails your pc will be
restored to the previous condition it was in.

but you have to upgrade before july 29 2016 if you dont upgrade till
that date then you have to pay.
this date may change at any time.
it looks like microsoft may extend the time but dont wait.

i have upgraded and i own the windows10 nvda group so i can help you
with any questions that you have.
u should definatly upgrade.
and accessability is just improving more and more.
right now its 99% accessable only there are some problems with
twitter
app and dropbox universal app that you get with the windows 10
store.
other then that no problems.
you will have to reinstall nvda after the upgrade as you may face
some
lags and slowdowns.
if you have openbook 8, jaws 16 and older they will be uninstalled.
at the time of upgrade.
also its best to go to the website of your pc or laptop maker and
download latest drivers and bios and flash them.
if you dont get latest drivers no problem you will get drivers from
windows 10 updates
