To answer specifically, I don't think, it is listed in the list of approved 
software. However, it is not listed in the restricted software either. It is 
not expected to be in the list of approved software. I haven't seen the list, 
therefore, I can't comment on it. However, the list would cover mainstream 
softwares like wordprocessors etc.

Nvda is not a Mainstream product. It is a specialized software which enables a 
visually disabled person to use the main stream computer.
It is an open source software which is also a freeware. It is used by blind 
persons across the globe both in their professional and in their individual 
capacity.

In short, there is no problem in using it in your work environment. No security 
concerns would happen by using it.
