As the friends from Karnataka may be aware that the state government 2 years 
back announced a scheme of monthly unemployment allowance of Rs. 1000/- per
month for those persons with disability who are registered in special 
employment exchange but could not be placed in any gainful employment but after 
2
years since then the scheme was announced the state government has come into 
the position to give effect to the scheme and accordingly now the applications
are invited from the eligible disabled persons for the benefit of the scheme.
Application form can be downloaded from the website of Director for the 
empowerment of differently abled & Senior citizen – 
www.welfareofdisabled.kar.nic.in

completely filled up application along with all necessary documents should be 
submitted to concerned office of child development projects 
some key eligibility criteria to apply for the benefit are –
a. Disability above 30%
b. age between to 25 to 45 years 
c. minimum academic qualification –SSLC
