Hi Sid, The two types of companies that exist are Private Limited Company and a Section 8 company. A private limited company is a for profit entity while section 8 is a non profit entity. Depending upon the nature of your prospective business, one should decide which one they choose.
Both require a minimum of two directors. Though there is a new option being introduced for a private limited company which can be opted if there is only one director. Its called OPC Private Limited company i.e One Person Company. The name of company would then go like - XYZ OPC Private Limited. Though for all branding purposes you can conveniently omit the OPC word and just use XYZ Private Limited. LLP, like others mentioned is in between a registered company (private limited or section 8) and a registered partnership firm. The legal compliance and book maintaining etc is a bit less complicated in case of a LLP than for a Private Limited or a Section 8 company. There are a lot of factors which identify which kind of incorporation is appropriate for you like your scalability, business model, future plans and kind of service/product being offered. All of this has got nothing to do with a the applicant being visually impaired. Hope this helps you decide.
