Hello Amar, in every job or profession, the visually challenged persons face
different problems because of their blindness, and each person trys to
findout solutions acording to one's nature and capacity. but I feel that
the challenges in the field of practicing law are far greater than in other
fields. If you know Dr. Damodar Vadegaonkar and Mr. Intiyaz Ahemad, they
were extremely brillient and had a mastery over law. I am not boasting, but
even I am a student of GLC and have done LL.M. and Dr. Vadegaonkar taught me
for all the five years. Never the less, both of them prefered to teach in
Law colleges because of the amount of dependance involved in practicing law.
Studying law and practicing law are two different fields. Now with the
availability of electronic instruments the self-dependance has increased to
a large extent. Even then, the vi. persons cannot have the ease of the
sighted counterparts. Therefore I raised this issue. I hope, I will get more
feed back.
