no it is working fine with firefox. please check your java run time and
update it with version 7 or latest. uninstall the old version of java run
time. also let your firefox allow java script after installation. in my case
it is working fine with the higher versions of firefox and google chroam
also.

And if you have to file tax as a self assesse, then you are completely
gone, as the online tax paying system start with a stupid captcha. You
can solve the captcha with firefox, but the bank I have online banking
facility availed with, Punjab National Bank, does not allow
transactions through firefox, gets a session timed out error and was
told by the branch that that is because I used firefox.

1. the CAPTCHA is still in alfa-numeric format. how can we recognise
audio
whether it is in caps or small.
2. the DOB field is not accessible with firefox and can be filled with
internet explorer after 2 or 3 retries.
3. the captcha is accessible with firefox but no solution about alfa
and
the DOB field is not accessible.
4. the DOB field is accessible with internet explorer but AUDIO captcha
is not working. hence it has become worse than i filed my return in june

the claim of accessibility of ITD website is false. why don't this

captcha is to be replaced with OTP. income tax department have enough
money to give mobile service providers for sending OTP through sms.
please don't suggest alternet login method like net banking etc as i am

and it is being highly encouraged by Central government. They have

hat they would make this UPI both Android/ IOS app accessible. He
also
was
kind enough to offer his assistance to connect with Paytm founder and

keep you posted on this initiative.
