Good write-up, Avinash; except that (I know situation may be different at some places) at least those branches I have visited SBI, HDFC, Andhra Bank - I have noticed that they are indeed helping people with disabilities, elderly to exchange notes and withdrawing notes. In fact, in one of the SBI branches (Kaggadasapura, Bangalore) where bank is located in 1st floor and ground floor they have locker operations, they have arranged to facilitate elderly and people with disabilities at ground floor itself.
