Tiny, I think you did a good job of educating that bank officer. Now that you know her, can you also please request her to spread the word with her colleagues within her bank and other co bankers who she may know. These small steps would change the world. Or share the contact info with me off the list and I shall be happy to talk to them.
As your friend rightly mentioned, there is no need to produce such letters. If any bank demands such a letter, let's counter them with same ask that they should deny us the facility in writing and give us their conditions in writing.
