Hi Kanchan, Thanks for asking that question. John has nailed it. My reasons for 8 plus, as John rightly pointed, are, Having a bigger screen gives ne more space to type on,perform those 3 finger 4 finger gestures with much more comfort and locate icons on screen much more easily. and better camera, greater battery life and better speakers and a 3 GB RAM instead of a 2 GB RAM were a few other things that factored in the favor of the 8 plus vs an 8, I believe in future proofing our new gadgets to some extent. I'm sure this iPhone will last me for the next 4 to 5 years at least. the battery of 8 plus is amazing, it lasts for 2 days with moderate use. To know more differences between the 8 and 8 plus you can google for some youtube videos. And lastly, yes I'm partially sighted. So I do also use the magnification at times. And I watch youtube videos etc so as you rightly pointed out, a bigger screen helps me.
But having said that, I know of some people, sighted, partially sighted and totally blind people who prefer and like a small screen like that of the S E model, which I think is 4 inches. So it also depends on ones personal preference.
