Hello Vetrivel,

Thank you for writing back to us with the required information.

In reviewing your message, I understand that the some of the files which you
have burnt with XP is not recognizing by the windows vista and the folder
appears as empty. But those CD's are fine and they work well with XP
systems.

I will certainly assists you in this regard.

This issue could be due to correpted CD DVD drivers.

Windows to find and install the CD/DVD drive. 5. When done, the drive name

Hello Raine,

Those CDs were burnt almost three years ago and I just used the usual
CD burning method within XP. Those were burnt in a format known as
CDFS. I am having this problem particularly with MP3 CDs.
Interestingly; half of the folders in all those CDs can be easily
accessed while the remaining ones appear empty. I tried copying those
folders to a flash disk in XP systems, but they are shown empty in
that as well. Since those CDs are working fine with XP, I don't see
any problem with CD disks. Nor do I see any issue with the hardware
since it is able to read/write most of the CDS. So there seems to be a
software issue and I did so much of online research through
HP/Microsoft vista pages, but no use and no patch seems to be
available. So let me know what to do with it.

Best Regards,

Vetri.
