Hi Narendra,
Like others I am disappointed at your approach.
We should focus on reasonable accommodation and not exemption.
In my Company Secretary curriculum I gave an Open book exam. Despite
repeated requests, the CS Institute did not allow me access to soft
copy material. Hence, I had my text books fully marked up and had a
practice session with my scribe (who had no idea of the subject).
Though it was quite tedious and exhausting for me and my scribe I did
eventually get good grades. And with utmost respect, there was a lot
at stake in this paper (as compared to the AIB), not only are the
questions challenging but God forbade if I didn't clear that subject,
I would have to write the entire group again.
My suggestion would be use a laptop if permitted, if not mark up your
text books and aclamatise your scribe with the process.
Best
Turab
